Hi, I’m Darin. I help people make sense of complex technology, these days mostly Private AI.
I’m a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at Broadcom, focused on VMware Cloud Foundation Private AI. For more than 20 years I’ve turned complex infrastructure into demos, hands-on labs, videos, presentations, and blogs that make sense to engineers and executives alike, first at Compellent and Dell Technologies, and now at Broadcom.
These days most of my time goes into Private AI, running LLMs, RAG, and agentic workloads on enterprise infrastructure. I’ve presented at VMware Explore, helped build Private AI demos, and have been named a VMware vExpert every year since 2023. I also run QuickInference.com, where I experiment with open-weight models and local inference on my own hardware.
When I’m not building demos, I’m usually traveling with my family or tinkering with the latest AI tools.
